The Building Bridges project integrates the healing arts to create a dynamic, holistic approach to mental wellness. Peer-reviewed studies highlight the impact of healing arts on mental health, showing that practices like Reiki, breathwork, and movement therapy significantly reduce anxiety, improve mood, and enhance resilience. These methods can even lower cortisol levels, ease depressive symptoms, and increase overall emotional stability, according to research published in journals such as The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine.
Throughout 2025 we’re building connections between the healing arts and mental health communities, forging partnerships that expand access to alternative, effective ways of supporting mental wellness.
