Join Us in Bridging healing arts with mental Wellness

The healing arts are a vital part of our wellness journey.

Throughout May 2025, we’re building connections between the healing arts and mental health communities, forging partnerships that expand access to alternative, effective ways of supporting mental wellness. 

We invite healing arts practitioners to introduce their practice and lead workshops during Mental Health Awareness Month, set within the inspiring environment of shared stories and our monumental string art bridge. 

By collaborating with local mental health nonprofits, we aim to bridge the gap between traditional mental health approaches and holistic practices, fostering a comprehensive model for mental wellness. 

This is a chance to create lasting change, offering your expertise to those seeking new avenues for healing.

The Building Bridges project integrates the healing arts to create a dynamic, holistic approach to mental wellness. Peer-reviewed studies highlight the impact of healing arts on mental health, showing that practices like Reiki, breathwork, and movement therapy significantly reduce anxiety, improve mood, and enhance resilience. These methods can even lower cortisol levels, ease depressive symptoms, and increase overall emotional stability, according to research published in journals such as The Journal of Clinical Psychology and Alternative Therapies in Health and Medicine.


By joining this movement, you can share your expertise in the healing arts with a community eager to explore new avenues of mental health care 

and collective wellness.
