Thank you to everyone who showed up, shared, and supported.
The Bridges Project wrapped its 2-month exhibition at Charlotte Art League, marking the beginning of year long visionary quest to END Suicide and eliminate the stigma surrounding it through collective healing, connection, and community.
The Bridges Project is a mobile interactive healing arts exhibit that uses the power of connection to build a massive bridge
from illness to wellness through the power of our stories.
Each kinetic installation includes suicide awareness, education, and healing arts programming—blending facts with creativity to change how we think, treat, and talk about mental health.

Our traveling looms move from place to place—just like a library book—collecting courageous messages of hope, resilience, and healing from people across the community.
Each completed loom will join together to form the base of our 30ft bridge, providing a way across for those who may be struggling with suicidal ideations or loneliness.
Every string, every message, a reminder, we are never alone.
We are ALL a part of a living tapestry of unity and shared transformation.

Our healing arts programming centers restorative practices for growth, longevity, and personal evolution, offering creative, mindfulness experiences that empower individuals
to reclaim their own healing journey.
However, the healing arts are often inaccessible, seen as a luxury, or unaffordable to many.
That’s why Mental Health Reimagined brings these experiences into community spaces, making them free, accessible, and deeply human.
"For me, these practices were life-saving.
When I couldn’t afford therapy or medication, the healing arts were always there to get me through." MHRNC Founder
It is our prayer that by the time this bridge is complete, we will have made over 700,000 connections—one for every life lost to suicide last year.
But instead of marking loss, each string tells a different story—
A story that begins with a string, bridges a divide, and weaves HOPE back into the human experience.
H.A.N.D.S. (Healing Arts Network for Development and Support)
Inspired by the Quechua word awaq, meaning "weaver," H.A.N.D.S. embodies the essence of weaving together stories, healing, and community. As part of Mental Health Reimagined's mission, we are building a Healing Arts Network to connect the transformative power of creative and healing arts with the mental health system of care.
Becoming a Threads to Hope host or sponsor means joining this network of "weavers," contributing to a collective effort to bridge the gap between isolation and connection.
This is how we reimagine mental health—one string, one story, one connection at a time.
The Bridges Project, starts with a thread, bridges a divide, and weaves a way across this 'crazy' landscape together.
Suicide remains one of the leading causes of death in the United States.
The Bridges Project is committed to eliminating stigma and ending suicide—for good. Over the next year, we will engage communities in a collective healing journey through the creative and healing arts. By creating empowering, transformational spaces, we amplify the voices of those living with suicidal ideation and mental health challenges—as well as those who have lost loved ones on this silent battleground.
This energetic suicide awareness campaign, presented by Mental Health Reimagined, is more than a message—it's a movement. A courageous connection that calls us to reimagine mental health and awaken a culture of compassion. One that moves us from illness and isolation to personal and planetary wellness.
It begins with a thread, bridges a divide, weaves a safety net of compassion, and engineers The Way Across—together.
The Bridges Project a purpose planted long ago during my first QPR training in 2014 when I heard the story of Kevin Hines. Fast forward a decade later the Bridge Project is born. It starts with a string, bridges a divide and weaves HOPE back into the human condition.
Your tax-deductible donation helps us do more than raise awareness—it helps us create healing spaces rooted in the healing arts, pay our facilitators, offer free workshops to the public, and partner with community spaces to bring suicide prevention, education, and emotional support to where it’s needed most.
